Estate Planning is a personal process.  The decisions that need to be made are complex, and are directly related to the most important concern in your life – the health and well being of your family.

I began my career working in the social work field, so I have a strong knowledge of family dynamics.  This background makes me more compassionate and understanding with respect to the concerns and dreams of families.

I decided to attend law school because I witnessed, first hand, the need for legal services.  I graduated from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.  During law school, I worked at law firms, and volunteered at legal organizations, such as the Senior Legal Hotline.  I opened my own office because I recognized the need for affordable and personalized legal services.

I believe that Estate Planning is an important component of your family's overall financial wealth.  Thus, I believe that it is imperative that when you are reviewing your estate plan that you also review your financial plan.  I have found that the collaborative approach to estate planning is mucn more effective because not only do you receive a legal perspective, but you also receive a financial perspective.  Many individuals procrastinate about estate planning because it seems too daunting.  However, taking care of these matters will help you to have peace of mind knowing that your family is taken care of.

In my spare time, I am a volunteer commissioner on the San Jose Senior Citizens Commission.  I am also a State Liaison for the National Healthcare Decisions Day.  I also enjoy hiking, playing tennis, and painting.
