Estate Planning is a personal process.  The decisions that need to be made are complex, and are directly related to the most important concern in your life – the health and well being of your family.

I began my career working in the social work field, so I have a strong knowledge of family dynamics.  This background makes me more compassionate and understanding with respect to the concerns and dreams of families.

I decided to attend law school because I witnessed, first hand, the need for legal services.  I graduated from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.  During law school, I worked at law firms, and volunteered at legal organizations, such as the Senior Legal Hotline.  I opened my own office because I recognized the need for affordable and personalized legal services.

Estate Planning not only requires expert legal knowledge, but also expert financial knowledge.  In order to better serve my clients, I have teamed up with a Certified Financial Planner™,
Jesse Dogillo. As part of the Estate Planning process, clients may choose to meet with him.  Jesse has twenty years experience as a financial planner.  He will prepare a financial analysis and will provide advice to you regarding your financial situation.  I have found this combination of professionals to be most effective because not only do you receive a legal perspective, but you also receive a financial perspective. If you already have a financial planner, I would be happy to work with him or her.

In my spare time, I am a volunteer commissioner on the San Jose Senior Citizens Commission.  I am also a State Liaison for the National Healthcare Decisions Day.  I also enjoy hiking, playing tennis, and painting.
